I've seen it with my own eyes:
Guy breaks breaks up with the girl and "apparently" breaks her heart,girl becomes sad says she's gonna end her life and she's so depressed.Though none of them actually kill themselves.
This might be an idiotic drama but it can be what you said too.Thanks for mentioning that,too bad many kids won't read it. -

Yes I am a parent and if concern for my child's well being makes me a terrible one in some people's eyes so be it. I hardly think any of you are in a position to comment on what is good or bad parenting. However I do feel I have slipped up somewhat in allowing her access to gtq at all !
I do not condone my child being manipulated into a relationship because she fears the guy is going to harm himself if she ends it.
I do not condone emotional , mental and verbal abuse of my child.
I do not condone cutting and self mutilation as a coping mechanism and I am very concerned that my child , after exposure on this forum to many kids who use this form of self abuse to express themselves, thinks that " cutting is normal "
If disallowing my child from using a forum on which discussions are having adverse effects on her mental health offends some of you - tough !
If wanting to challenge and expose the lies and mind games played by a user who (if he claims to be who and what he says) is an ADULT offends you - tough !
I meant what I said in the beginning. There are some people on this site who use lying and manipulation to win friendships and approval, many of the younger users are not emotionally mature enough to deal with this . It is dysfunctional and it is harmful. -
Then they should leave if they are too youngbto handle it.
