Thread Topic: When you go to college
-
My mom just reamed me out because I'm failing Human Biology. It's a big deal, to be sure, but I know how to handle it. I understand the concepts, I just don't study them enough. I can handle it on my own, I'm almost 20, and getting on me about doesn't really do anything. If my mom didn't get on me about this stuff, I wouldn't do any worse, and I wouldn't be as stressed out all the time either.
But she does pay for college so she does basically have the right to go nuts about this s---. -
When I got to college, I will not! live with my parents.

It's much more economical for me to live with my parents, and I have a good relationship with them so I'll probably be staying with them. x3 Though they support what I want to study, and my dad says I can use his GI bill credits to go.

I'm gonna be at home when I go to colege,but...I pretty much got the place to myself.

kuuwae NewbieWhen I go to college the first four years I'll live in the same town not with them though. Then I'll move to like Albuquerque then I live at college. Im going to Dental School, YAY! Dentists rule! I've wanted to be one since kindergarten. I haven't even wavered from wanting to be one.

It really depends on how things go during that time and what would work best.
I don't even know where I'm going to college yet, I just know it will most likely be an engineering area. -
FLgirl92 NewbieHonestly, I like living at home better. I've lived on my own and at home during my college experience. I thought living on my own would be fun, and it was, but after awhile I really missed seeing my parents everyday. I'll probably be living with my folks for the forseeable future, even when I graduate this spring and start working at a salon. I pay rent, but it's less than I was paying at my old apartment with a roomate, and I don't have to get food stamps anymore to eat. I'm hoping that living at home for awhile will allow me to save up some money to invest in my own salon.
