Stop hating all the freshmen. You don't know any of them so stop complaining that they said or did something you didn't like. They're new, you gotta help them not treat them like crap. I'm a freshman but anyone older than me has helped me with everything so far. Only one person, a senior, doesn't like me (at least he shows it). But I'm trying to get on better terms since he's friends with my friend's brother. Then my ex is a douchebag and talks crap. And Hell will be frozen over COMPLETELY before I let her take MY friend away. :/
So stop complaining about freshmen and help them for once. That's one thing wrong with this world.
I now understand what Ting was talking about. The reason we're like that with newbies here is because we all do it in school. -
i apologize, Mo. i wasn't badmouthing all the freshmen, there was just a particularly obnoxious bunch at my school.
-
Eh, freshman are at the bottom of the food chain so naturally there are going to take shots from upper classmen. I'm okay with little to some crap towards them, but nothing that would make them overwhelmed.
-
I don't live in America or attend a high school...
-
Who cares where they're at. I never picked on 6th graders when I was in 8th grade. So what gives Seniors and Juniors the right to be asses to Freshmen? They need all the help they can get, but no. People are too jerky to understand that.
-
The freshman at my school won't accept help. They're too proud. i know, not all freshmen are like that. i just dun like the ones at my school.
-
It's the food chain. I was a freshman and I was okay with it. I wouldn't try and to reform school tradition.
How bad is it with you? -
What on earth is a freshman?
-
*try to reform school tradition*
-
And I think people at school generally suck no matter the grade.
-
Leah- 9th grader. If you don't know what that is, I can't really help. Other than frshmen are a class when they are in the ages of 14-15
-
It's not bad for me at all. That's the problem. You should suck up your older person pride and look at all the people in my school. They help me in lunch, they open doors for me, they say sorry if they cut me off or bump into me. They're not like 'Do it yourself' 'You better be sorry' or anything like that.
-
Appa- I agree. Not all, but some.
-
The upperclassmen at my school do reach out to help the freshmen, but most of the time it's the freshmen that are rude.
-
We have different interpretations on how upperclassmen act towards freshman. I don't have "older person pride." Though that doesn't mean I think we should suck it up. Freshman are typically annoying and stereotypes cause the discrimination. It's unjust, though that world isn't fair either. This is comparable to trying to change the world. It's not going to happen.
