but we DON'T need nepotism on gtq, this is one of the very things that destroy it from it's former glory
GTQ WAS an escape from life! We're trying to escape from these beauty contests and just have fun! We don't want to be judged in our escape! Without gtq, I'd probably have commited suicide, the support I got from here was eternal, these people are a second family that never judged me and helped me through my tough times when I had no one. -

When I first came on, people were just randomly chatting to each other, loling, and fighting and apologizing, then loling and fighting and apologizing and it carries on that way, everyone was EQUAL and didn't care about anything... Now these threads show up, people vote who is the kindest or politest or rudest or memorable or whatever and mostly its only the popular gtqers and the old members listed, dividing gtq... I also think these threads may somehow cause jealousy and hatred...

GTQ NewbieI voted in this once, but really. Who cares who's best at what or nicest or meanest? I mean seriously, I love GTQ, but it's only a website. We've got jerks like the trolls and nice people like the nice people. I usually ignore these threads, and that's what people should do. Because Leah might feel bad for starting this thread now, and she shouldn't. Don't be mad at me for saying this, I just felt I had to.

I must say, I feel like people are being hypocritical. Everyone is always telling people to grow some balls and take the bullying over the computer, it means nothing, it's stupid, and that you people all get REAL LIFE bullying. You'd think that if that were actually the case, you could ignore not being someone's favorite. Maybe saying the most rude member and meanest and stuff like that is bad, but I don't get what's wrong with saying who you think is funniest or smartest or sweetest- it not like if you're not on that list, it means your the opposite. If you're not someone's favorite, it doesn't mean they hate you or anything.
It just seems completely hypocritical. And you don't have to take part if you don't want to. I'm sorry Leah, that people didn't have the same vision as you, and tried to make you feel bad for it. I think it's a completely brilliant idea. -
I like this thread...I find nothing wrong with it. Except for the Rudest GTQ User, we can have fun with it.
Feelings shouldn't be hurt, since we know what were getting into by partaking in the quiz.
If, by chance, we have a problem on it, we shouldn't be pointing out its faults. Is it really that hard to ignore a thread you don't like? Or do yuo always have to come in and insult it, then put the little "No offense" at the end? I think those posts might insult more than the thread itself, depending on how it was written xD
