Though precautions need to be taken to make sure that everyone knows that they are cared for and everything, I like these threads. I find it interesting to see what other people think of other people. But I understand the other viewpoint.

I'm against these kinda threads as well which is why I don't post in these threads but I thought I should say this.... They show whose better than who and in what place. Then comes the part where half of the qtqers are not chosen and the other half are always repeated in the catagories... Someone is bound to get hurt... All I want to say is... I'm with Mo on this one, and whoever used the gtq account...

I remember there was a stage people did these and people started ranting out people about this, this popularity contest, the thing we were trying to get away from on this website...
please don't make threads like this, they only serve to be hurtful and promote nepotism which we try to keep out of this website. -

I agree with whoever was in the public account. Even though I would like to see who you guys chose, I don't like these threads that much because everyone who wasn't chosen as memorable or something feels bad and hated possibly (depends on who it is I guess). And that doesn't feel good. It's ok to make voting threads like "what's the best quiz I made" but not "who on gtq has the best quizzes".
And usually only senior users are mentioned so some of might show off (I was forum stalking and saw someone show off about it) and someone's gonna end up feeling bad
