I want to love and care for them the way my mother never did. I will forever cheer them on and be there with them during their problems. If my child was a 'trouble' child like I was, I would never abuse them, the way I am abused. I would love him or her, because it is my child.
I want their father to be there when they are born, like my father never was. I want him to be there for them when I'm there with them as well. I'd like for him to never neglect them, the way I was neglected. Though he must be like my father in some ways, serious, but with the soft, playful side to him.
Bottom-line, if I ever had kids, I want to be a better mother than my mom was. I can't stand her, nor can I stand the thought of putting my kids through the same mental and physical torment.
I don't want to be like my parents, ever. > -
