this isn't the only reason but
my friend refuses to do this dance with me because it implifies homosexuality and thinks it'd be embarrassing
i see nothing embarrassing about it.

it's the MAGNET dance so yes it does imply homosexuality since the song is about forbidden love and its two girls singing it.
