It’s only a matter of time before everyone else leaves me
I’m being really pessimistic this year jeez -
I hate it when people are like ‘do YOU want to go to lunch’ and it’s like you’re the adult here please tell me what to do
That’s not sarcasm like you’re the authority figure here since when did I have a choice about whether or not I have to see extended family
Idk how to describe it it’s like you said we’re going to lunch today with an aunt I haven’t seen since I was like 6 and I’ve mentally prepared myself for that interaction and now you’re asking me if I want to do it because I apparently get a choice now but I didn’t yesterday when you told me we were definitely going to lunch -
And now I don’t know what to expect because you adults aren’t giving me a straight answer augh
