i don’t understand how ppl rp with just dialogue or tiny actions that don’t push the plot forward 💀 my rps, any that i stick through, each post is usually long, detailed, and it contributes to the plot
meanwhile i see people replying to rps with simple lines of dialogue or “he handed pen to her, give pen will did, yes yes pen hand” and i rlly don’t get it
i usually lose interest in rps either when the other person isn’t contributing to the plot and is giving very simple-minded responses or i lose interest when ive just lost interest in the plot -
that’s my problem with romance rps, they’re so terribly BORING because ppl rush them. i do slow burns which usually bores the other person but i think slow burns are better
but i prefer platonic rps, or at least platonic at first and VERY SLOWLY inching towards romance. i don’t like deciding before the rp “oh this is a romance” because i think hinting it over time eventually is better
