@shad, furry art makes me rlly uncomfy 😠they don’t rlly correspond with what im tryna draw anyway, so i usually try to study visuals of humans and animals separately :]

posting this AGAIN for context for what im finna post lmao
received art critique from reddit for a lot of dif drawings :D it was one person (because tbf not a lot of ppl draw dragons), but it was critique nonetheless :]
so i should focus on making the front part and the back part separately in full body shots, and i should study great dane anatomy for reference since it apparently helps a lot
they explained that the torso is too small because the torso carries a lot of vital organs such as the heart, lungs, stomach, etc, and that i should maybe try to add rib cages
i was a bit meh on the rib cage since i don’t think you would see a visual of a rib cage irl. like, taking reference off humans, most ppl you don’t see rib cages if they’re not sucking in. the same would go for a dragon unless it’s lethally skinny or sum -
also in the above photo the second horn looks weird 💀 they didn’t point it out but can visually see it and it’s a huge bother rn
