so 0.2^0.2 is the same as 0.04 because 2 * 2 is 4 but because it's 0.2 times 0.2 you're adding a zero to the right of the decimal because it's 2/10

so then 0.3^2 would be the same as 0.09 because 3 * 3 is 9 but because it's a decimal number you add a zero to the right of the decimal as a placeholder and then so on

1^2 = 1
0.1^2 = 0.01
1.01, right? but if i go back and check it's wrong, im so confused -
how is it 1.21? 1.1^2 would be 1.01 but im still 2 tenths off 😭

2^2 is 4
3^2 is 9
4^2 is 16
5^2 is 25
0.1^2 is 0.01
0.2^2 is 0.04
0.3^2 is 0.09
0.4^2 is 0.16
0.5^2 is 0.25
maybe im doing it wrong, my brain keeps wanting to add but i need to multiply -
OH that's my problem okay
so im tryna multiply 1 and 0.1 separately when i needa multiply them together
ex. 1.1^2 isn't 1.1*2, 1.1*2=2.2 but 1.1^2=1.21 because 1.1^2 is a smaller number than 1.1*2 because its 1.1 times 1.1 and 0.1 times 0.1 makes a smaller number than 0.1 because its basically subtracting -
1.1^2
1.1*1.1
its breaking both 1 and 0.1 up
why is this so hard, i know what the problem is but for some reason my brain literally cant comprehend the answer to resolve it -
i keep wanting to think either two things, 1.1*2 or 1^2 + 0.1^2 which isn't the answer

why am i doing this im never gonna use algebra anyway
my mum worked in a BANK and not once had she ever had to use algebra, she literally told me she's never used algebra after she dropped out and went to college, that's pretty much why she gave me the go to get my GED 💀 then again i still needa do the math -
