i haven’t made any new friends in ablittle bit, mostly because i haven’t been rlly interested (at least irl, online im like the epitome of social madness), but i think it might be good for me to start doing it again :]

it's interesting thinking the two stark contrasts of a line of civilization are both harbored in africa and the united states. africa, a stark contrast between the sahara desert and the tolerable and livable climates, but the united states is a stark contrast between the "city life" and the "rural life", east and west. the east is so densely populated, you could walk in any direction for 20 minutes and find any city or gas station or just civilization in general
meanwhile the west, you can drive on for hours with nothing but scenery and the road ahead, occasionally the road jutting off into a hiking trail, or just nothing -
ive lived in the west all my life so its interesting knowing how many different cultures there are in the united states. i genuinely never really thought of it but its good to know

oh my gosh got vc today and honestly freaked tf out of me
i havent rlly been social in a while; i got confident for a while but now i jus get anxiety in social situations outside of text (mainly call, irl is fine) -
also bc i dont wanna be loud, but luckily i have the house to myself tomorrow since the parents will be gone for two days :]

so maybe i could try to be loud then. but the thingamajig is i literally trained myself to be quiet and its in habit now

think i jus needa push myself into social situations, once i do i have no prob thinking up words or convos, its jus getting myself to put myself into it
