oh my god it’s trippy thinking about bc then my surname wouldn’t be my surname. ive grown accustomed to my surname, but im not exactly fond of it and i prefer using my first name and my first name solely because i associate my surname with my dad, and im not related to him in the manner of knowing him

court legislations need to be changed. it’s so f---ing dumb that you need an absent parent’s permission to get adopted and cancel child support payments.
you deserve to lose the right of having a say in any of that if you haven’t been a part of the child’s life, or even if the child wants to be disowned alone. because if a child wants to be disowned by a parent and adopted by someone else, i believe that says a lot, considering children probably wouldn’t think of having the thought if their parents treated them accordingly -
why can’t i just like, not have a dad?
