My mom just said that she made the desicion. Gonna move in the summer. Because....we have family there and she says that she country environment would be better. And the schools systems would be better...etc. I think she lost her mind. I need help, how should i convince her not to move? I have tons of amazing friends here ive known since i moved here. when i was 3. (I love it here, I know the twn inside and out. I want to finish my awesome middle school here. The school systems are great, and i love it here. Yea, i like vermont to, but i grew up here. Please dont say things like "Moving can be hard, i know.:" or empathy. I DO NOT WANT EMPATHY. AND NO ONE SAY ANYTHING ABOUT FEELING SOORRY FOR ME. Don't try t cheer me up either. I don't know why...but it annoyings the f--- out of me. How can i convince her to stay? Don;t state the obvious like "Tell her honestly and kindly all the reasons why." just don't. I already know that.

I never said i didn't want advice, appa. I don't want people to state the obvious. I just not want empathy and people feeling sorry for me.

Um I dunno. I moved a ton when I was younger, I know I couldnt do anything to change my parents minds about it.

You should get the scoop. Find out the [i]real[i] reason why you're moving is. Then that should help you understand the situation better, and you'll know how to deal with it properly.

Vermont is a lovely state and the schools are better. Your classes will most likely be small and many of the people get along.
You can ask her why she wants to move so bad and try to reason or you can suck it up. Your choice really. -
Until the age of 7 I moved between michigan and florida every 3 weeks.
At the age of 7 I moved to england.
And we go back to america for about 3 months of the year sometims more sometimes less.
Did I ever complain?

All you guys are giving is how nice vermont is and all that stuff. I specificaly said not to state the obvious like "Try to reson with her." I KNOW. BUT HOW. YOU GUYS ARE MMISSING THE WHOLE QUESTION -
If you're going to be a brat, no one will help you. e.e
Point out how nice NY is and why you want to stay, but try to point out what she likes about it too.
Casually mention nice people that are around you.
Spend time with her.
Delay your whatever you live in from getting sold, that way moving isn't final.
Just overall suck up. -
well the best way is to sit down with her and aruge your points and see if there is anything you can do or if some arrengement can be made
