FLgirl92 NewbieUntil now, Obama has really just been the lesser of two evils for me, more or less. I was really only supporting him because Romney and Santorum were waging a war on women. But now, I wanna give Obama a giant hug. Yes, I know most of you don't like him, but I also know most of you favor gay marraige. How can you not be thrilled that the most powerful man in the country is ready to fight for LGBT rights?

I think it's election time and he's trying to buy votes with this. Sorry, but that's what I see. .3.
Honestly, I'm thankful I'm won't be able to vote in this election. I can't see myself supporting any of these people. -
Greatest I am Newbie+ 1 for Obama.
The right won't like everyone having the right to love.
How sad for them and their hate filled hearts.

I have always supported Obama and i know he is doing this for more politics, but i am glad he did this. Gay marrige is Really ok! If we can have our diffrent Beliefs we can like girlXgirl or boyXboy. There is nothing wrong with that.
Ps. The boyXboy couples are nice and funny and i really like how they love to laugh. -
i agree with ana
now do not get me wrong....
i do not HATE gays but i will NOT support them...nor will i surround myself with gay people. I say everyone is equal...no need to pick favorites...but i do not agree with what they are doing...
now if you think i am judging than please know that that is NOT my intention and i do apologize if thats what you think i am doing. But i am not sorry for not agreeing with what gays do....im sorry -
Greatest I am NewbieU B fool.
Change the labels in this quote to women, Gays or children being brainwashed by religions and it show what we should be thinking and doing for each other.
"First they came for the Jews, but I did nothing because I'm not a Jew. Then they came for the socialists, but I did nothing because I'm not a socialist. Then they came for the Catholics, but I did nothing because I'm not a Catholic. Finally, they came for me, but by then there was no one left to help me." Pastor Father Niemoller (1946)

This is politics, not religion. O.o

I'm actually kind of with FL on this one. I think it would be a bigger deal, however, if the Democratic Party actually made marraige equality a part of their platform for 2012, in which case I might actually consider registering with the party.
