I think hate is too strong a word. I don't like his policies but I don't hate the man. Plus there are many politicians I disagree with. I hate political corruption and the greed for power. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

tongue NewbieI generally approve of Obama. I think his story is one that could only happen in America. Obama I feel at times hasn't made taken bold enough action- I'd like it if he stopped trying to be a coalition builder because it's a futile effort really. In trying to kickstart our economy, Obama hasn't been devoting enough attention to the private sector, which is where long-term recovery lies. Obama made a very misguided decision in escalating the war in Afghanistan as well. And Obama hasn't delivered on financial reform or effectively reigned in Wall Street. But in the end, disgruntled liberals like myself will have to throw support behind him until his presidency becomes a Jimmy Carter style disaster, because the alternative is President Palin.
