then again neither would most other presidents stop it. the fact is obama has done ALOT towards are
1. econemy
2. welfare probs
3. hes introducing a euthanasia program (i respect that)
4. if nothing else he is a change...you know? a fresh air. i mean..you go down the list and come up with, George Washington, teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Nixon, Clinton, mostly great guys...but the fact is this is a democratic country, and if we are such then NO ONE but white christian men are being represented -

tongue NewbieThere's probably nothing the government could have done better to clean up the oil spill than BP. Frankly I think it's a great concept that oil companies have to clean up their own mess. If you want to get on Obama about anything, complain about how BP, statistically the most dangerous oil company on the planet, was able to get a permit for offshore drilling. Complain about the fact that Obama and the Interior Department have continued the harmful energy policies of the Bush Administration, that pretty much any company that wants to drill offshore or blow up a mountaintop for coal can get a permit no questions asked. Let's get pissed about that, because that's the real problem.

Obama... Hmm... he's trying his best to bring peace and fix all the country's problems it faced in the past and is facing now.
You say he hasn't fized the oil spill, what would you have done in his place? I doubt you'd go to the far ends of the earth to find technology to stop it now would you? You'd say yes, but you're just being a hypocrite.
Eh, I find him better than Bush anyways. -

tongue NewbieYea, ILM hit the nail on the head. Easily the biggest success of Obama's presidency is that almost automatically our relationship with the rest of the world improved. It's yet to be seen whether this will help solve the issues in the foreign world, aside from the nuclear disarment treaty we recently forged with Russia. I'm optimistic though- you get farther cultivating good relations than by rattling sabres. That didn't work out too well during the 8 years before Obama became POTUS.

Dude, when you're the president, you've got a bunch of stuff on your mind and not some fukking oil spill. I doubt Obama is sitting at home in his boxers eating junk food and watching some Reality TV game show now is he?
Like I said before, you're saying he's not doing anything, you wouldn't have been any better in his place either! -
how do we know that he's not doing anything right now? i mean he could be out in iraq helping us in the war. he could be trying to save earth from a meteor...
we don't know. we just think he's not doing anything because the goverment hasn't told the press anything. and the press can't tell us because they don't know....we can never be sure if he is doing something or not...
