It has to be a bluff. He's just trying to get all the nations to stand down and let him take Ukraine. If one nuke goes off the whole planet will retaliate. It'll start a chain reaction. You start bombing world superpowers and there's going to bomb you back. That was literally the whole point of the cold war.
-
I swear to God politicians remind me of toddlers arguing over what toys they want to play with. Like that's how stupid fighting for land and threatening war is.
-
Ikr?
Besides, we have tons and tons more nukes then him, and so do other countries. I do not think he will fight a war he would not win. He is smarter than that. He is trying to scare us. -
Putin just wants to reclaim the Soviet. He's a dumb person, who wants the Soviet Union to be rebuilt.
-
He is not dumb. He is obsessed
-
Russia has the most nuclear warheads. They're not all super high quality, but you need to know that if they wanted to they could completely destroy dozens of nations in one day. I know it's scary. I'm not trying to make you afraid I just want you to have a realistic standpoint on what's going on.
-
I know, but I just was told that the USA has more warhead? Guess that source was wrong or something. The only way at this point we can avoid WW3 is ONLY and ONLY by working together. Making alliances with Europe and stop relying on the enemy.

This is the current situation. Russia has been losing power and influence over the last decade. They are extremely nationalistic. Putin is in his 70s. He is nearing the end of his life and with the expansion of NATO, he believes that if he doesn't reclaim their strength before he dies then that is it. He believes Russia will fall if he doesn't do anything.
So let me reiterate. A man nearing deaths door who is extremely nationalistic is making nuclear threats. His threats are not to be laughed at. If anyone has the balls to do it it's going to be him because this is Russia's hail Mary. The world leaders need to be extremely sensitive in how they approach this because one wrong move and that's it.
And at the very least, if there is no nuclear war, which God let's hope there's not, then we have cut off Russian imports which include copious amounts of oil. With the already unstable economy, this conflict is absolutely the nail in the coffin for economic depression.
There is no happy ending. One way or another your life is going to be affected by this. Be realistic, but not cynical in your outlook on this situation. This is not just another conflict. This is going to change a lot of things globally. -
I know
-
If Putin nukes any NATO countries, the rest are NATO is obliged to do something.
I have a question, but would it be possible for NATO countries to threaten to accept Ukraine, so that Russia would cease attack? -
I guess…. But Russia it’s self is in nato and we cannot forget about that factor. Russia has a major impact on nato decisions.
-
I don’t think it is
-
Russia is not part of NATO
