Putin is not dumb. He is a genius. Either that or the government of the USA and other countries are just way too gullible
-
Thought I would give my input on this.
I do agree that someone should be sending troops to Ukraine to help them, but the thing that is disheartening to me is, no one will. Ukraine isn't a part of NATO yet. Albeit they are currently in accession to be a part of NATO; nothing can be done until they are.
Biden is sending troops to neighboring countries; but only as a defense if Russia does get that far.
For me; seeing the videos of people's houses getting bombed and people having to find cover because they are getting shot at is heartbreaking.
Putin doesn't want Ukraine to join NATO, which is one of the reasons why this war started. -
Ikr! Also, it is extremely horrifying watching people having to run into the subways to escape bombs. Another scary thing is how we are videoing this and freaking out, but our government is refusing to do anything to stop this. That is to me the real twisted cruel bit of this conflict.

The US hasn't exactly done nothing. Ukraine is not a member of the NATO alliance which is why no countries have sent actual troops to Ukraine to aid in fighting.
The US (and other countries in NATO) have been sending troops to NATO countries to incase Putin continues beyond Ukraine. The US has also sent troops to Poland to help refugees from Ukraine.
It's pretty unlikely that any other countries will get directly involved unless Russia invades a country in NATO, or Ukraine joins NATO. -
There's a little bit more as well
Here's my source -
My mom’s from Taiwan, and her relatives there have expressed a lot of unease when anyone talks about China. Trust me, almost every person in Taiwan HATES the Chinese government. Seeing as Taiwan could easily be in this situation, but with China instead- I’m really upset.

I hope that someone takes action, and quickly. If it blows up to be another world war, it’s gonna be hell. Im not into politics because I don’t understand them,
but when people are dying- someone needs to help. But pulling more countries into Russia vs. Ukraine is going to be dangerous. I don’t want to be caught in the middle of war, but I don’t want Ukraine to fall either.
Im just scared -
My mom and I were taking about it and apparently one time Putin said that any country with a Russian population is part of Russia or something like that.
South America and Africa would probably be safe from it since while they're allied with NATO, they're not a part of it. -
Now if Putin attacks nato members like in Estonia or Lithuania, THAT I bet will get some help
-
Belarus Finland and Moldova are not NATO counties. I'd assume if this trend is to continue, Belarus could easily be next. It doesn't help that Belarus and Finland already have a lot of Russian cultural influences because of their proximity and respective histories. I wouldn't expect that to be imminent. If Russia attacked a second nation closely after Ukraine they would surely raise serious alarm bells across the world.

Ultimately though, we're a bunch of young adults on a forum and really don't know what's in the minds of the world leaders right now. We can speculate and our hearts can break for Ukraine, but we can't know anything which is probably the scariest part.
I want you guys to know that if you're experiencing emotional turmoil or physical difficulty over this then I'm happy to talk to you and try and help in any way I can. That's all i realistically can do in this situation. Just offer my support to you all. -
That sounds about right.

Belarus announced that they weren’t going to fight with Russia
-
If Russia takes Ukraine, then China’s going to invade Taiwan.
-
……And north koerea might invade South Korea!
The leader of n. Korea is considering it is what I’ve been told…..
