Wysteria sighed, gave Lani a hug, then turned and slowly walked to her house.

The Mooruis creeped up from behind Lani. 'So,who gets the last laugh now,b----?' one of them hissed

Wysteria secretly watched from her window. "Why didn't I go through the ritual? Then she would have been imune to their bites!" she said to herself.

Lani hissed at them. 'Oooh,burn! the slayer becomes her own pray.' one of them mocked

Lilac took a rest then, leaning against an old oak. It creaked as she leaned against it. Suddenly a big gust of wind came up, the tree snapping.....Suddenly it snapped in two. A screech echoed through the forrest, and Lilac ran to see what happened. She recognized Wysteria, a girl she had met earlier. And Wysteria was looking at a person, lying squashed beneath the tree.

Wysteria felt anger burning up inside her, but she forced herself to relax "I'm a Sabola, who knows what would happen if I got angry?"

Lani tore of a few patches of flesh with her bare hands. Some Mooruis cheered.

Wysteria gasped Her new side is taking over! she thought, but stayed in her house. For fear of getting hurt herself.

Abruptly, Etelani stopped. 'Oh,no!' she cried 'What am I doing?'

Wysteria smiled If she can fight it long enough, it should wear off. I hope.

Lani could feel the evil side take over. 'NO!' she yelled,attempting to fight it.

Wysteria opened her door and shouted "You can do it Lani! Fight the power!"
