"No one can keep me safe from myself," he barely whispered, staring at the floor. Though his response seemed bland, his cheeks had the faintest blush on them.

Sadness crept into Trenton's throat, choking him, bringing tears to his beautiful blue eyes. -

Preston glanced up, noticing the tears gathering in Trenton's eyes... His gorgeous blue orbs... Stop. He's your therapist. The young man tentatively reached for his hand nonetheless. -

A dark pink appeared on Trenton's cheeks as he saw Preson reach out for his hand. He put his hand into Preston's hesitantly. -
Preston laced his fingers with Trenton's, sniffling a bit. The tug of a smile could be seen, if you squinted and really looked for it. He somehow felt safe... As if he could take on the world just by holding Trenton's hand.

Trenton couldn't help but grin. His heart raced like a speeding car, feeling as it was fixing to explode out of his chest.

"You're smile... It's dazzling," Preston gushed before he knew what he was saying. His face turned a good three shades brighter red.

Treating chuckled, blushing. "I wish I could see yours."

He fought the urge to let himself grin. "I-it's out of order right now. Like the vending machine down the hall. Maybe it'll be fixed soon."

The blue-eyed man smiled. "I hope it gets fixed soon."

Preston nodded, the corners of his mouth twitching just a bit. "Me too. Maybe you could help me with that."

Trenton continued to grin, his white teeth shining. "I most definately can."
