Shiloh finished up, trying to be as careful as possible. He soon began to dress the wounds, and finally finished. "That should be good for now, I suppose."

Connor nodded. "It's great. Thank you, my love."

"No problem, my hero." He kissed his forehead softly.

Connor smiled softly.

"You're going to be so tired without sleep, love. Can I get you anything?" Shiloh stayed by his side lovingly.

Connor shook his head. "No, I'm fine."

"Okay. If you do though just tell me."

"I will."

Shiloh, no longer tired, just stayed there with him until the light began to shine through the windows.

Connor stared at the ceiling.

"I don't want to leave you, but my dad might need to see me for a briefing. I could cancel though if you're hurting." Shiloh said, feeling protective over his love.

Connor shook his head. "No, go meet with your dad. I don't want anybody worrying about me, so no need for anyone other than you to know."

"Alright, but I'm still afraid to leave you here alone. I'll try not to take too long."

Connor nodded. "Okay."

Shiloh kissed his forehead before going about getting ready for the day. He placed a tray next to Conner before leaving. "Water and everything else you might need. I love you, my sweet hero. I'll be back soon."
