He nodded, but tried staying awake a bit longer with him.

Connor kissed him softly. "Sleep, my love."

"Will you be okay though?" Shiloh asked, concerned.

"I'll be fine, trust me."

"Okay, but if you need anything don't hesitate to wake me up." The prince slowly started to drift into sleep.

Connor nodded and kissed his cheek.

Shiloh dreamt of nothing in particular, though for some reason he felt like he could hear faint screaming in the distance.

That's kinda freaky...
Connor just laid there, not able to go to sleep for a long time. He wasn't going to wake Shiloh, but his side was hurting and he could hear the shadows again, more clearly this time. -
Shiloh stirred, his sleep becoming more and more disturbing. The screams got louder.

He couldn't make out everything they were saying, but he had a feeling it was all bad.

Shiloh whimpered, as if the presence of the dark corners was giving him nightmares.
