Connor shook his head. "They were bothering me...and I didn't want you to get hurt. But I failed anyways.. Please forgive my failure, my prince."

"You didn't fail. I failed you. I love you so much Connor...I don't want to lose you or for you to be hurt."

"I love you as well, and that's why I want to protect you. I'll give my life to protect you, if that's what it takes. I'd rather get stabbed a hundred times than see you in pain."

"It hurts me if you're hurt, though. I can't stand it. You mean everything to me." He softly kissed the other's cheek.

Connor sat up, despite the pain in his side. He put his hand on Shiloh's cheek. "I'm fine, as long as you're safe." he said, then kissed Shiloh softly.

Shiloh kissed him back lovingly, leaning forward so Connor could lay back down again. He parted, placing a small kiss on his nose. "I love you, Connor..."

Connor smiled softly. "I love you as well, my sweet prince."

"Are you going to be okay? Should I call for one of the physicians?" Shiloh still looked worriedly at his love's wounds.

"I suppose. The wound only needs to be cleaned and wrapped."

"I think I can do that. I'll be careful." Shiloh got up to go into the bathroom, taking out such supplies to take care of Connor with.

Connor attempted to get up, managing to get on one knee.

Shiloh sat the supplies next to the bed, and carefully lead Connor to it.

Connor sat heavily down on the bed. His arms was throbbing, and so was his side.

"This'll sting a bit, so tell me if it's too much." Shiloh took a clean cloth, dabbing it gently on the wound on his arm and down to his side.

Connor grit his teeth but didn't make a sound.
