Connor looked around the spacious room. "Damn!" he said. This whole room was bigger than the house he had lived in as a child.

After pausing a second he couldn't help but chuckle. He wasn't used to such causal manners, but was more open-minded than most of the court.

Connor looked over at Shiloh as he chuckled. It was a beautiful sound to him. He loved it. He smiled at him. "Thank you, very much, your majesty."

He looked down a moment, hoping his shortish medium hair covered the traces of blush he couldn't help that appeared. He had heard people call him 'your majesty' all the time, but there was something different the way Connor said it, a good different. "You're very welcome, Mr. Time."

"Please, Mr. Time was my father." he held out a hand for the Prince to shake. "Please, call me Connor." he said, still smiling.

He watched him hold out his hand, and went to shake it, slightly confused but curious. "Alright, Connor." He smiled back. He secretly enjoyed the contact, something he never had really known. When the door to the room started to open he dropped his hand, watching as the woman from earlier in the garden came in. "Prince, you're needed in the court. I'll see to our guest." He nodded, politely waving goodbye to Connor and leaving.

Connor waved back at the prince. The touch of his hand had felt tingly. Like an electrics spark.

The woman gave a curtsy, putting down a tray of towels and necessities. "Hello, I am Mrs. Allen, a caretaker here. I will see that you have a nice stay while you're here." She was polite, not cold, but not exceedingly friendly, perhaps due to her lack of contact with the lower classes.

Connor nodded. "Thank you, Miss." He smiled politely.

She gave a nod and a curtsy, leaving to go back to her other duties. After what seemed to be a while, Shiloh came back, smiling happily. "Hey, dinner will be ready soon," He informed, yet that wasn't to be his only reason for coming. "So how are you?"

Connor smiled happily at the prince, happy for his return. "I am splendid, now that you are back." he said. He didn't really think before saying anything.

He gave a soft chuckle, the words causing the heat to return to his face. He didn't understand it since that never happened to him before. "Well, I'm happy to be back." He sighed. "I honestly can't stand being out there sometimes. Everyone is so...fake."

"God, I know. Reminds me of high school." He shook his head, remembering that time. "That's one time I'll never go back to," he muttered.

"High school?" Shiloh looked confused. "Is that the name of the school you went to?"

Connor looked at Shiloh with eyes wide. "Uhhh, yeah...." Shut up! he thought to himself.
