Just the character name and age, and then we can start. :3
-
M'kay. ^^
Name: Prince Shiloh
Age: 18 -
Name: Connor Time
Age: 20
I don't know why, but I'm already imagining these two people as England and America... -
Hehe, I can see that. Maybe the time traveler could be American and the prince British. :3
-
Yes, that's what I was thinking!
-
Awesome~
I'll start then, if you don't mind. :3
The clock kept ticking away as Shiloh sat in the parlor, working on his studies. Yes, even he, the prince, had to get his formal education. Though with the sun shining so brightly he would have rather been outside in the garden. His teacher was an older woman who could be very strict and proper, so any thoughts of escaping wouldn't go very well. -
Connor walked down the old street slowly, noticing the differences between this time, and the last one he was in. He admired the brick buildings, some leaning slightly askew. He walked down the dirt road, his hands inserted comfortably in his front pockets. He watched as passerbys started curiously at him. Of course, he thought. My clothes. He had to admit, he must look quite peculiar to the old-fashioned folk, in his modern get up. Jeans and an aviator jacket, with a white cotton tee. Much different from the formal dress most of these people wore here.
-
The woman took his paper that he had just finished, checking it over for mistakes. "Alright, this seems to be adequate. You may leave, your grace." He nodded, doing his best not to lose his manners as he left the room. Quickly he went outside, glad to feel the sun shining brightly and warmly, since it was always so cloudy or rainy in England. He walk near the fence, curious to get a look over it at the commoners' and their lives.
-
Connor continued to walk down the street. He watched homeless children steal from a street seller. The guy started freaking out, even though all the kids took were two apples. He walked over and gave him a ten dollar American bill. The guy looked at him like he was crazy, but Connor just patted his back lightly and said, "Keep it. It will come in handy, trust me," then he walked away. He noticed the castle down the road aways and began to walk quicker so he could get a better view.
-
"Um, Prince, you probably shouldn't do that." A woman housekeeper that had been like a mother to him since the Queen died warned as he started to climb up against the stone fence. "I know, but it gets so bloody boring here! I would rather be out there." He sighed as she shook her head. "It's two different worlds, Shiloh. Princes are not supposed to mixed with commoners. It's not proper." He listened but looked back over the fence, seeing a man not much older than himself walking towards the castle. He scolded himself mentally for thinking how dashing the stranger looked, knowing full well that another 'improper' act would be to desire another man.
-
All of Connor's focus was centered on the architecture of the amazing castle, but as he came closer he noticed a young man, seeming close to his age. The young man was actually quite attractive. Connor smiled as he looked at him, but looked away and back to the castle, not knowing the etiquette of this time. He stood near the front gates of the castle and just stared studiously at the ancient building.
-
Shiloh studied the stranger's appearance, finding his clothing to be extremely odd. Where did he get such apparel? It wasn't like anything he was used to seeing, even among his glimpses of the regular common folk. In all of this mystique, he found himself drawn to the other, but soon turned away and blushed when he noticed he was staring. He managed to turn back to offer a wave to the stranger below. "Who are you waving to, Prince?" The woman's voice snapped him back to reality, and he disappeared back behind the fence. "N-no one."
-
Connor had seen the young man wave and he smiled and waved back, but the young man had disappeared before he could see. He sighed and looked back up at the castle once more before walking ahead. The guards at the gate covered his path. "What do you think you are doing, strange man?" Connor smiled politely." I would like an audience with the king, kind sir." He knew enough of old England that he understood the way they spoke.
-
Walking over towards the gate which wasn't too far, Shiloh noticed the guards were speaking with someone, his theory being the strange male he just had seen. He managed to hear what was being said, his curiosity growing even more. This man has business with my family? I wonder what for... Before he knew it, he caught the guard's attention. "Let him in." One of the others gave him a strange look. "You do know this is a complete stranger off the street, your majest-" "It's fine, let me speak with him. If his business is of interest I'll lead him to talk to my father." With that, the guard hesitantly followed orders, moving so Connor could go forward.
-
Connor walked in through the gate, only the least bit surprised that this handsome young man was the prince. He smiled at him and bowed his head. "Thank you, your majesty," he said.
