  A boy, Trent, is born blind. He had been attending the school for the blind ever since kindergarten, until his father is landed in the hospital due to leukemia. Now, having to move in with his mother, Trent must attend normal public school because his mother lacks the money needed for tuition to his previous academy. Forced to adapt to an entirely new environment, Trent is assigned a sort of 'guide' who leads him throughout the halls and to classes. That's the gist of it.
