We walked back to his house.

I smiled, the silence is nice when its just me and Elzie.
(Ok) -
It didn't take too long to get to his house. "Bye Zach, see you tomorrow."

"Bye Elzie." I hugged her and went inside.

I headed home.

I went straight to my room, passing my family in the living room, mother and father discussing the latest news, aunt Marie knitting, uncle Mathew reading the news paper, uncle Scott watching the fire, and grandfather reading a book. Nothing out of the ordinary here. They already knew where I was coming back from, so no need for questions.

I went home, completely ignored among the loud talk of my family. An aunt yelling at my uncle, Grandfather yelling something I couldn't quite understand. I went up to my room, sliding down against the back of the door after I'd closed it.

I layed down on my bed and opened the window, maybe another sleepless night for me. But who knows anything could happen in the 3 hours of sleep I might get tonight.

I pulled on some pajamas and curled up in bed, ignoring the chatter downstairs.
