We entered the kitchen. Dinner was almost finished cooking. Guessing by the smells, it was chicken.

I rubbed my nose at the smell. Chicken always got to my nose for some reason.

I looked back at Elzie, quite clueless.

"C'mon, I want to show you something." I took his hand, leading him upstairs eagerly.

I was being pulled and running behind her, holding her hand before I said, "Ok."

I opened the door to my bedroom and picked up a sleeping, fluffy, black kitten from my bed, waking her. "We finally got Nyx." I smiled. Sure, I was pretty immature at times, so what?

I held the kitten with one hand and scratched behind her ear with my other. "Haha, you finally got Nyx." I smiled, settling the kitten on the bed and playing with the kitten.

I smiled, watching Nyx pounce on top of him.

I laughed, its been awhile since I played with any animals.

I grinned. It was kinda cute. No, it was cute.

I played with Nyx a bit more until I gave up. "The little kitten has too much engery." I laughed.

I smirked. "First you let a little girl beat you, then a kitten? You're getting weak."

"Hmph." I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Maybe I need to pay attention more in class."
