We walked together back to my house. It was hard to believe we were barely a month apart in age. He was so much taller and mature looking than I was. I looked more like his younger sister than best friend.

I looked down at her as we walked. "I guess I hit my growth spurt first." I laughed to myself.

"Heh. Yeah." I smiled, reaching for the door.
