I kept walking, deep in thought.
Jesus, sorry for disappearing. D: Chores have been a b----. -
I sighed and covered it with my coat sleeve.
It's okay. :3 -
Time skip to the next day?
-
Yesh. :3

I had settled in an abandoned warehouse the night before. I awoke to a bright glare shining through a broken window. Later on I'd head over to th shelter and take a shower.
-
I awoke under a tree. Damn... I must have fallen asleep under there. I sighed. Maria is going to kill me...
-
I cut across the same route I had walked yesterday. The shelter was located on the other side of town. It was faster to cut through the Highlands than to trek all the way around the perimeter. I just about passed the area where I saw the girl yesterday. I glanced over. She was still there.
-
I forced myself up and started making my way towards the house. God, I'm going to get into so much s--- for this. I thought, miserably. But...what if I don't go make? What if I started my own life? What if I...ran away? The idea was new to me, and I did have on me: a knife, warm cloths, some money (about $2000). I could live off it. Get a job. And, most importantly, leave.
-
I shrugged and kept a ways back, wondering why the hell she'd slept outside. Things couldn't be that horrible for her. I sighed, kicking a rock. It skidded across the pavement.
-
I thought about it. Then again, they could easily find me again...Why am I even considering this!?! I'm going to have to suck it the f--- up and live with it. This is life. My life.
-
I looked up at the sky. It was a bright blue, the type of color that made it seem like a unicorn threw up on everything. I tripped over my own two feet. "s---," I muttered before regaining my footing.
-
I finally walked back towards the house, mostly forgetting the whole idea. But it was still there, in the back of my mind.
-
I soon reached the town shelter. I hopped into their shower, then washed my clothes after cleaning up. It was alright, this place. Pretty decent, but by no standards adequate enough to be considered a 'home', even for the most desperate.
-
I opened the door and sneaked up into my room, closing the door and locking it shut. I looked down at my wrist again, the blood stained my sleeve, and my skin.
-
After I was done taking care of hygiene needs, I headed towards the kitchen. I took a slice of toast along with a scoop of soggy eggs. Better than nothing.
