I sat up, looking at the clock. 10:14 am.

I signed out and stopped in the public shower facility. Once I was done, I stepped outside. The bright sunlight was blinding for a moment.

Damn, dad's gonna be pissed. If I go back, that is. I frowned.

I walked through the streets, towards the lake. I always loved to see it in the middle of the day. The sunlight reflecting off of the cool, blue water was always a psychologically healing sight.

I sighed, and leaned back to look out the sunroof.
