I heard something outside and stopped kissing him.

He set her down.

I turned to look towards the window.

He followed her gaze.

I backed up a bit. They're here...

"Something wrong?"

I looked at him, scared. "I...I think they're here..." I whispered.

"What should we do?" he asked back quietly.

I shook. "I...don't know..."

He walked off into the kitchen, hoping to find something. A knife, preferably. Or perhaps a hammer.

I fallowed him. "We wouldn't be able to fight them off, even if we had weapons, Mason. Demons need to be killed with weapons forged in heaven. Which, we do not have."

"Really?" He turned to look at her.

I nodded sadly. "Yes."

"So they honestly don't care if demons were to kill you?"

I shrugged. "Well, the truth is...my brother sent me down here, if He found out...it would have been MUCH worse. So, I guess they don't care."
