"Really?" He sighed. "If your brother really cared about you, wouldn't he have given you something to protect yourself?"

"I guess it never occurred to heaven the demons would ever attack us again." I said, bitterly.

"Hm. Can you contact them in any way?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No."

He kicked the table. Sure, harming the furniture would help in no way, but it made him feel better.

I walked up to him and hugged him. "I'm...I'm scared." I admitted.

He looked down at her. What to do...

I pulled away. "Sorry." I muttered.

"For what?" He hugged her again.

"Getting you into this crap." I hugged him back lightly.

He shrugged. "It's worth it."

I grinned faintly.

They stood there like that for a moment. He still wondered what they should do...

I pulled away and looked back into the living room, trying to see out the window.
