He stood there in the kitchen, on his own. He didn't believe it was really impossible...

I turned back to him. "I'm not sure if they're still there or not."

"I'm gonna go find out, then." He started toward the door.

MY eyes widened. "Y-You're going out there?"

He headed back toward her, grabbing the dagger. "Sure. Just don't follow me. And, if you can, stay out of sight from the window. I don't want them seeing you."

I nodded. "Be careful." I kissed his cheek, and hid in the shadows.

He smiled and exited the house.

I watched him leave.

He started breathing heavily as he ran around the house toward the demons. He stopped next to them, panting. His hands landed on his knees and he stared at them. "I-I did it. I killed her."

My heart pounded in my chest, I felt a bead of sweat drip down my forehead.

(Could you possibly narrate them this time? If I do, I'll go too easy on Mason.)
He sighed, standing up, but still panting a little. -
(Sure)
"So you did?" Asked the female demon. The others snickered, obviously not believing a word he said, knowing that he wimped out.
