The demons watched him intently. He had no clue that they were there.

I drove home, quickly, wanting to just forget about the demons and go to sleep.

He was still standing on the porch when they left. So her name was Skylar?

I got home and saw Mason standing on my porch. I parked my car, jumping out to greet him. "Hey." I said walking up to him.

"Oh, hey." He smiled.

I smiled back. "So, what you doing here?" I asked, fishing out my house keys.

"I just got here. I thought you might be here, and just stopped by," he explained.

I nodded. "Ah, well, here I am." I said, smiling a bit.

"Yup." He stood there. Should he leave?

I walked past him and opened the door. "Wanna come in?" I asked him, not really knowing if I should or not.

"Sure." He followed her inside.

I closed the door after he walked in. "I know there's not much here..." I said, i had the furniture delivered and they put the few items in the house, exactly the way I wanted it, but the house was still pretty empty.

He shrugged. "If your dad wasn't here much, I wouldn't imagine you'd need too much in your house."
