Bryan stared at the ceiling for the longest time, thinking about the day. He sighed Nd finally gave in to the nagging calls of sleep.
Kent sat awake in his bedroom, reliving the moments of his parents' deaths over and over... -
Jess found herself dreaming of all the possible scenarios that could've occurred, not noticing it when she dreamt of the accurate situation, because, of course, she hadn't been there.
-
(Do you actually know what I have up my sleeve? .3.)
Bryan dreamt of the murder; the rifle, Kent's face after it all... He awoke in a cold sweat. It was nearly dawn.
The light in Kent's room remained on; a ghost of a once exhuberant boy sitting beside a bookcase, his face grave and riddled with sorrow. His eyes heavy with mourning and sadness, he stares out at the empty space around him. It is eerily neat; everything is in such an order that it increases the numbing feeling inside his chest. A once gorgeous soul is shattered, replaced by a hollow, fragile shell. A heart filled to the brim with love is now vacant and desolate. -
(noooo... but im asuming i came close to it since you said something :3)
Jess woke up the next morning to find she had slept in late. s---, I'll be late for school... Jess frowned. School. Kent and I left school. Mom and Dad let me leave... Mom and Dad... Jess started crying. -
(xD I dunno. Tell me it on text+)
Bryan heard crying coming from down the hall. He rose to his feet and knocked on Jess's door. "Are you okay?"
The sun started to rise, it's light illuminating Kent's room through the open window. He watched it intently. His parents used to say that sunrises symbolized a new start and forgiveness... -
I sniffled. "Not really. Reality just hit me," I said, walking to the door and opening it.
-
He reached out and wiped a tear from her cheek, pulling Jess into a hug.
-
Jess hugged Bryan. "I hate this. I f---ing hate this."
-
Bryan shook his head sadly. "I do too, I do too..."
Kent sat alone in his bedroom, staring at the now almost bright sky. Today would be a sunny day. That does not fit, he thinks as he wipes at already dried tears. That does not fit at all. -
Jess sighed. "I should go check on Kent," she said, walking out of the room and towards Kent's room. She knocked on the door.
-
Kent sat still, facing the door. He reluctantly stood up and opened the door.
-
(according to Mello, i need to be kept in a box to keep me from getting involved with BB.)
Jess smiled lovingly. "Hey, buddy." -
"Hi." He managed to speak for the first time since the shooting.
-
Jess smiled. "How are you feeling?"
-
Kent scowled. "Bad."
