The foul temptress' red eyes widened. She turned her tail and fled, the steamroller following her all the while. 'Oh, no! Oh, no! Oh, no! No! No! NOOOOOOOO!'
Dregarius snickered, and held his foot out. As Arlene ran in his and Xero's direction, she plummeted flat on her face. -
Nobody noticed the silent figure in the shadows, creeping silently behind Pete. Before anyone could blink, both were gone.

In a matter of minutes, Arlene's gurgling screams echoed through the garage as she was crushed. As Persephone flattened the demonette with a bulldozer, Essence recited a spell to exorcise her. In a matter of moments, what was once Arlene was now a pile of distorted metal and vital organs, in a pool of blood.

Persephone climbed out of the bulldozer, greeted by her friends, cheering. Even Yudas was letting out weak little cheers.
'Seph, you're a hero!' Dreg exclaimed. She kissed him in response, and then pulled away.
'Thanks, hun.' she smiled. 'You're a hero, too, remember? You saved Xero.' -
Hum, I do have someone who I planned on bringing in today
"Yeah!" Xero said, giving him another hug. -
