Waru looked surprised. What had happened that made Vivian look like this?
'Vivian, what happened?' he asked, narrowing his eyebrows. -
"Arlene failed." Vivian replied. Short, simple, and to the point.

'AW, s---!' Waru growled, stomping his foot against the ground. 's---!'
In Vivian's bag of shadows, one shadow in particular stirred. The shadow of Heather Mankowitz. She knew that she had to escape and find her body, before it was too late. -
"My thoughts exactly." she said, placing her bag down beside her.

'At least one of them is taken care of.' Waru sighed.
Heh heh, that's what YOU think! Heather's crafty shadow thought as she slipped out of the bag, before anyone could notice. -
"Yes, and I was able to take a boy. He doesn't seem to have any connection to the others, but he does have connections elsewhere." Vivian said.
