Eric could tell a little that Ashley had come back, but he still didn't wake up.

The next morning, I picked out some clothes, and took them into the bathroom with me. I took a shower put on some makeup and started walking down the hall to get my stuff.

By the time Ashley had come back, Eric was gone.

"Well, I guess I'll meet him there." I said to myself.

Eric had met Robin and Jacob in a park a few miles away, just as they'd asked. Cautious about Jacob, Eric tried to hurry up their meeting as much as possible. When it was finally over, Eric hurried to school, hoping not to miss Ashley.

I ran into Eric before school started. "Well, hello Mr. Sleeping Beauty."

Eric rolled his eyes. "Neither Jacob or Robin will be bothering us for a little while."

"They went home."

"Won't you go back there too. You must miss them, in some way." I said knowing I was keeping him away from them.

"Nah. I'm technically not supposed to go back until I finish my job. And I don't really miss them."
