  Charles was taking notes, not phased by his friend's stares. She just sat there. What did she care? How was learning all that human garbage going to help her? Would it save her life? Nope. That's why they were needed as protectors, from darker demons and other beings.
  Their boss was a young looking woman, barely 17, and took quite an interest in humans, for some reason. Probably in order to gain more control of the above world.
