The smaller quickly snatched a donut and ran out to his waiting friend. "Ready."
"Let's go and get this day over with!" The friend, Toshi grinned. -
As Kioke came down Katsumi handed him a granola bar. "Eat and walk, silly boy." She smiled and opened the front door, and they walked out to the high school.

His friend was already on his way, as Yuki grabbed a pop tart on his way.

A text came next. You're going to be late if you don't hurry!
Haru groaned and got his backpack, then grabbed an apple from the dish in the kitchen and rushed out of the house. -
"You're slow, Ma."
"Yet I'm always the one calling you on your cell telling you to wake your ass up." -
They reached the campus, Katsumi leading the way.
"Damn it...wait up Kat!" The boy lagged behind a bit.
"But you're so slow..." -
They soon arrived, Yuki finishing the last of his food, catching up to Kiyoshi.
"Finally decide to catch up?" he joked.
"Ah, shut up..." -
He caught up to Kioshi, and the other boy smirked. "Tuck in that shirt, boy!" he laughed.
Haru rolled his eyes. "Screw you, Kio." -
"Upperclass men.." He glared back at some jock seniors. "Asses."

"Remember to be good, and do your work."
"Yes, mom..." Kioke rolled his eyes.
She smiled and patted his back. "Later." She went off to near her first class would be. -
The two bid their good-byes and headed to class.

Once at school, they both rushed to their class,

Masa went to his first class, in which he was with those a grade above him. "...I hate this class..." He mumbled and sat down.

Kiyoshi too a seat towards the back, avoiding the idiots he was stuck with.

Kioke went to his computer programming class, working on a digital gaming animation for his semester project.
Katsumi went to her class and sat down, noticing the younger boy.
