"What is it?" I stared at her, she was looking past me. I turned and saw the boy, SLAYER... the word ringed in my head, I glared at him, not moving yet. Then I saw a vampire also.

I could tell he was inexperienced. The stake he was probably holding once was lying in the snow, broken and covered with blood. And the boy was the one bleeding.
Without thinking, I became a Slayer again, just for a second. I pulled the weapon from my pocket, flipped up the knife, and went for the vampire, shoving him to the ground and easily killing him. I stood up. "Uh..." -
I hissed. "Jordan!" I pulled her away from the vampire, but it was too late. I kneeled next to him, the vamp, and looked at the slayer. "Who are you?! Why are here?!" I shouted. Thank goodness no one was around.

I didn't have time to apologize. I would later. I turned to the boy and held the knife up to his throat. "Now, you. Who are you?"
"My name's, uh, Chase. I was supposed to be apprenticed a few days ago, but my mentor was nowhere to be found. She was supposed to be hunting a vampire. They gave me her address, but she wouldn't answer the door so I broke open a window and that's how my hand started bleeding so I thought I might be able to find her at the park but I found that vampire and he was trying to eat me and I didn't know what to do until you killed him," the boy said all in one breath. "Are you a Slayer? Do you know Jordan Baker?" -

I smirked and stood up then glanced at Jordan with an evil look on my face. "So, Chase, you were supposed to be an apprentice, huh? Sounds like a pretty important job you could've had there, boy." A part of me wanted to rip him to shreds, then I knew my eyes would have been red now. Obviously a sign of what I was.

"A Slayer!" said Chase, not realizing Lucy's red eyes. I looked nervously at Chase then at Lucy.
"Um... yes, I believe I do know Jordan Baker..." I stepped closer to Chase.
"Great!" Chase hugged me. I stared at Lucy awkwardly. Um... -
I pulled Jordan away from him and went near a tree. "I suppose were not telling him where. 'Jordan' went?"
