I came back with my new friend, Elise. I heard Jordan's threat and I clapped my hands. "Well, the cat's outta the bag!" I laughed. "Ok, Jordan don't get mad but this is Elise." I cocked my head to the girl. She was still scarred, but was relieved that she wasn't alone at being a vampire.

"Hi Elise. I'm Jordan." I smiled a little and waved at her. Chase, on the other hand, was becoming a wreck.
"WHAT? H-how? Never! You'll have to kill me before-" I silenced him.
"C'mon, Chase. You really don't want me to kill you, do you? I think that you could find a better way to die than at the hands of your... mentor."
Chase looked at Elise. I knew what he was thinking. "No, Chase, you're not going to kill her." -
Elise smiled a bit, "H-Hello, Jordan." She said and was quiet again.
I saw Chase look at Elise. I shielded Elise then, glared and hissed at Chase. "If you even try to kill her, I will snap your neck before you even touch her. And I'm pretty sure you don't want to die an almost apprentice."
Elise looked over my shoulder at Chase. -
"So, um..." I murmured, trying to remove the awkwardness. "What should we all go do?"

"Hmmm," I looked at Jordan, then Chase, then Elise. "Well, I think we should go back to my apartment and relax for a little." I suggested.

"Okay." Chase looked like he hadn't slept until he'd found me. I'd make him sleep or something.

"Ok let's go." I gestured for Elise to follow and she walked along my side. "Um, Jordan?" she asked with a less shaky voice.

"Yeah Elise?" I asked. Chase walked along next to me, looking at his shoes.

"Are you a vampire too? And the boy?" she asked.

"I am. Chase isn't." Chase stuck his tongue out.
"Ew. Why would I be a vamp-"
"Chase..." I warned. Chase rolled his eyes and yawned. -
"Oh..So, he's human?"
"Yup!" I answered for her and we walked into the alley. "Oh wait, Chase can't jump up to the window..." I said looking up at the window. -
"I'll take him to the door..." I grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him around to the front of the building. "You know, it would be easier if you were a vamp..." I dragged him upstairs and knocked on the Lucy's apartment door. It was locked.
