Serra looked at Rion and stroked his hair. "Yes. Pretty, isn't she? Her name is Mana."
Rion looked at Mana. She looks delicious... -
Chaos and Demetri waited for Serra to lead the way out. The rest of the vampires had gathered, and now glanced nervously at the human.
Demetri could tell they were all thinking the same thing- Can we eat her? -
Mana felt their eyes on her, and looked down.

Serra could hear the thoughts of her followers and turned to face them. "No one touches Mana. Got it?"
Rion nodded, along with the rest of the followers, and followed Serra into the forest. -
Demetri and Chaos walked together, a few feet away from Serra and her... pet.
"How long do you think she's got?" Demetri whispered to Chaos. He turned and looked back at the anxious, ravenous crowd.
"Until Serra turns her back." Chaos replied. -
Mana walked with them, shoving her emotions down. She'd learned to do that after having to deal with Cheri.
The girl kept an emotionless face, her black hair falling over her calm shoulders. No tense, just serene stone. -
Serra put her arm around Mana, shooting daggers (glaring) at her followers. If any of you try anything, I'll tear your head from your body. Are we clear?
Rion flanked Serra and Mana, watching the other followers out of the corner of his eye. -
Demetri studied the human very closely. What an odd creature. Wasn't she afraid? If she was, she didn't show it.
Chaos didn't seem to care one way or the other, so she didn't bother getting any closer. -
Mana flinched slightly as Serra touched her, not expecting that. She quickly calmed down, though, her blue eyes flaring behind her black bangs.

Serra led her followers through the woods, leaving her arm around Mana. Rion continued to walk beside them.
Suddenly Serra stopped. She heard a dog bark, and turned her head. Then she heard a motorcycle engine. She tensed, looking at Rion. Vampire hunter. -
Chaos and Demetri perked up.
"Serra, should Demetri and I go after them?" Chaos volunteered. Demetri shifted uncomfortably. The last time she and him had tried to go after a hunter, he had nearly been killed. He seemed confident, so she let him ask. -
Mana blinked, wondering what was going on.

Serra listened carefully. She recognized the sound of the engine. "No. I have unfinished business with this hunter." She turned to face the direction that the hunter was coming from, and waited.
Headlights approached them, then stopped. A dog barked again, and his owner got off of the motorcycle. "Well, what a lovely surprise. Serra and her group of monsters. And... who's this?" the hunter gestured at Mana.
Serra nodded at the hunter. "Dax. This is Mana. My new friend." -
"Monsters?!" Chaos growled.
"Demetri is not a monster!"
Demetri looked up at him. "And?" she waited for him to clerify that he wasn't either.
He looked down at her, amused. "Yeah, sorry, that's all I got." -
Mana scowled, quite annoyed now.
