He caught it and got ready, kicking it again.

He caught it yet again, now somewhat energized but bored.

"Let's take it up a level." He smiled, kicking it a bit faster this time.

Nick wasn't too good at sports. It took him a while to get used to the quicker tempo.

Alex was patient and helpful, giving him a couple tips where he could.

Grateful for the advice, he followed it carefully, getting the hang of it.

"Awesome, you're really good." He smiled lightly.

"Thanks. Your tips are really helping."

"I'm glad. Heh, the kids in my neighborhood used to play, so I learned some things."

"That's really nice. I never had anyone to play with so I don't really know much."

"If you ever want to play you're welcome to with me."

He smiled. "T-thanks. I'd like that."

"Me too." He smiled as well.
"Okay, bring back the supplies and changed out." The coach instructed. Alex went and put their ball away. -
Nick waited for him. Trying to get into the lockers first was now a fruitless attempt, the herd of boys had already beaten them.

He went back and waited with him. "They're so loud.."
