Like I said just try not to stress it out.What I do is like put on some headphones to minus the noise outside and into a smaller safe room.
I'm not sure if we're expecting any here..I think just a few thunderstorms. -
*eats cookie* I heard an 11 year old boy died from a power pole falling on him. He was in his yard or something...

I might do that Jade. Or just close my eyes and listen to my TV.

When I was little and there were stormy days I would get a blanket and my stuff animal and hid under my covers with this Disney princess game boy thing and play on it. Or I would make a fort with chairs and blackets and ALL of my stuff animals and made a hole so I can watch t.v through it. It made me easily forget about everything.

Right now I'm in my bed...my mom told me to go to bed... :/

Make a fort in your bed. Get lots of blankets and attach them to corners so it can be above your head and then use your bedding sheet/comforter thing to cover your body, except for your arms and above since you're communicating with us through a hand held device and bring all your comfort toys/stuff animals together for a comfy feeling.
I do that, no matter how old I am. -

its been pouring all day where i live, the winds/rain were so strong they knocked down the fence in my back yard
