"But sometimes forever... Isn't long enough..." I sighed.
-
"Sometimes forever is an endeavor that cant be done." I pulled her even closer to me.
-
...Dude, I just have to say... If we coauthored a book based on this soap it would make not only a great novel, but a great movie! Obviously, there'd be more time in between major events but... What do you think? :P
This moment reminded me of the times when all was happy and well; when Mom was still alive and Dad wasn't a crazy druggy. "But... Randy. We should really get to the hospital." I hated ruining this nice moment, but I needed to see Tammy. -
YES I CAN PICTURE IT AS A MOVIE :D
"Okay," I stood up and pulled Sam to her feet. -
I pressed my hands to either side of my head to steady myself. "I think I hit my head when I tripped. So I might be slow."
-
"Its okay. Were not in a rush." I mumbled numbly.
-
But we should be... I tested out walking a few steps, finding that it was not as difficult as before. "Let's go. It'll be dark soon."
-
"Mmhmm."
-
We made our way through the streets until we reached the driveway of the hospital. The sun was setting in the horizon, making the sky appear to be the most brilliant orange.
-
It started to lightly rain, making the concrete cold underneath my ratty shoes. It was freezing out that day.
-
"Let's get inside," I shivered as I spoke.
-
"Mf. " I put my arm around her, trying to keep her warm. As we walked, immediately a few doctors came to us and showed us where to go.
-
We reached Tammy's room in a matter of minutes. I suddenly got a pit of nervousness in my stomach as we stood in the doorway. "...Tammy?"
-
I swallowed. "Yeah... Tammy?
-
"Yes? Come on in, Randy, Samantha." Her voice sounded small, feeble... weak.
