"What are you?" Amya growled, trying to narrow her eyes and look fierce like Taini did when they were in danger.
"Amyaaaaaa!" Kitkun called, running deeper into the forest.
When Xolani got to the edge of the forest, she stopped and looked out. Several trees had been cut down, and a path had been made. Three big, shiny things with wheels moved along this path, the origin of the roaring sound. -
"I'm a tiger, can't you tell?" Tree growled back, "What are you?"

"You don't look anything like a tiger, how was I supposed to know that? And I'm a wolf, obviously!" Amya snapped.
Kitkun crashed through the trees, forgetting all of the things Taini had taught him about being silent, and eventually saw Amya.
She was a few feet away from some weird creature, and they were snarling at eachother. Kitkun jumped over to where they were, attacking the new creature and yelling, "Leave my sister alone!" -
"Well you don't look anything like a wolf!" Tree said, before being attacked by something with a lack of fur.

"Kitkun!" Amya squealed.

Tree fought back with all her might, but was pinned down by the creature. She growled and tried to look fierce, but the fear in her eyes gave her away.

"Why are you attacking my little sister!?" Kitkun snarled. Amya glared at Kitkun. "I was going to fight her all by myself, you don't need to help me!" she snapped. "Thanks for the gratitude." Kitkun mumbled sarcastically, rolling his eyes.

"I didn't lay a finger on your sister." Tree spat, "She was the one who approached me, I didn't do anything to upset her."

Kitkun looked at Amya, then back at the animal, then back at Amya, back and forth. "But you were growling...and you told me you could attack her yourself." Kitkun said to Amya, obviously confused. "I just said that because you think I'm weak." Amya explained, eyes still narrowed.
"No I d-"
"I don't know why my brother randomly attacked you, creature. Sorry." Amya said.
"You're hopeless." Kitkun mumbled. -
"I have a name, it's Tree."

"How was I supposed to know? And why are you named after those big tall green things?" Amya snapped.
Kitkun said nothing. -
"Because that's the name my mother gave me." Tree snapped back, "And for your information I'm named after one of the greates tigers in the history of my heritage."

"Well, I'm Amya and this is my brother, Kitkun."

"I wish I could say it was nice to meet you, but sadly it wasn't."

Kitkun and Amya shrugged in unison. "Alpha Tynan and Alpha Cresentia are out tracking you down for trespassing on Starsong territory. They're most likely going to tear you to shreds, so I'd get out of here if I were you." Kitkun suggested.
The sound of a twig snapping and a dry leaf being crushed was heard. Was it the alphas? Kitkun and Amya stared at eachother, eyes wide with terror. They said nothing, but their expressions said Tynan's going to be ticked if he finds out we found this "tiger" and didn't kill her.
"Go! I'll make up a story!" Kitkun hissed at Amya, who nodded and then quickly turned and ran off - but not for thirty seconds before her scream was heard.
