Konako then went over to her mother, and complained as she started grooming her too.
"Mom! Seriously? I have less fur then you, stop it!"
Bast chuckled, and continued anyway. -
Xolani went and found Kaliska, grazing nearby. Xolani had never found grass very tasty, for some reason. She preferred berries and leaves. "Mother! Mahsa, Yudai, and Sohalia are being stupid again!" Xolani complained. Kaliska looked up. "If they're annoying you, you should go play with some of the other fawns." she replied calmly. Xolani sighed in frustration. "They play too rough!" Xolani almost screamed. "They play-fight in order to get stronger, you should too." Kaliska said, and started grazing again.
Xolani kicked a rock, then walked away. It wasn't fair. -
baylea ate some of the fish.her family ate the rest.

"Tree, how come you don't like meat?" River asked. "I don't know. How come you don't like berries?" "I don't know."

Her father walked in the den, carrying a couple rabbits.
Her brother and sister attacked the food, eating quickly.
Her mother went to eat too.
Kona sighed, and walked outside, looking for something eatible. -
Stone ran up to Sorrel. "How come you look so funny?"
Sorrel sighed. "I don't know. How come you always ask?"
"She's just a funny looking cougar," their mother, Leaf, walked in, carrying some meat. Stone and Poppy ran toward it and started eating. Sorrel walked over a little slower. She'd never quite enjoyed the food her mother had brought home. -
While Amya went off to play with some other wolf cubs, Kitkun crawled into the large, underground den that the pack lived in. His eyes hadn't gotten used to the dark yet, but he heard the sound of Taini's breathing while she took a nap, and crawled towards it. He shook her to wake her up. "Mom! Mommy? MOTHER! MOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOMOOOOOM!! MOMMY! MOTHER! Mom!? MOOOOOOOOOM!" Kitkun screamed when his first attempt to wake her failed. Taini woke up and nipped at Kitkun, causing him to fall backwards. "What!?" she snapped.

"Tree, why-" "River, why do you ask so many questions?" River stopped, and thought a moment. "I guess 'cause I'm curious." he said.

She climbed into a tree, and watched as Tailia sat beside her.
The two watched the forest, eyes bright. -
baylea went to clime a tree.she struggled a bit.rock asked"bay,why do you struggle climmeing ?" "because i do."

(Since Amya and Kitkun have been fed dead animals ever since they stopped drinking milk, I assume they can eat it without getting sick? xP)
"I'm hungryyyy." Kitkun complained.
"Caerwyn and Ianthe already led the hunt for today and brought back two deer. You had your share. In fact, I believe you had a bit more than your share, from the complaint I got from Ekin about you." Taini said.
Kitkun mumbled something. Taini couldn't quite hear it, but she picked up the words "hungry", "stupid", and "tattletale". -
Stone looked up from his piece of meat. "Mama, do you know why Sorrel looks funny?"
Poppy cuffed him around the ear, but Leaf stared at him. "There's nothing wrong with your sister. Eat your meat."
"But... but..." Stone looked at Sorrel, confused.
Sorrel sighed again and stood up. Her head practically hit the cave ceiling. "I'll be back in a moment." -
River and Tree sat in silence for a while, and out of nowhere Tree tackled her older brother.

"Why do you not eat meat?"Tailia inquired.
"Cause it tastes funny, and makes my tummy hurt"Konako replied. -
bay went to the bear den and took a nap.
